okay, this is me being actually understandable. miss murder is really fucking awesome. the lyrics are beautiful, duh duh, davey is beautiful, duh duh, everything is beautiful, duh duh. the beginning rift sounds almost like (old) green day, only afi-ier, which makes me smile. i especially love the very end of this song. it sounds almost like shiz off sing the sorrow, only not, which means that even though they gained popularity from that album, they are continuing with the wonderful afi tradition of having no two albums sounding the same, and they keep writing new and wonderful and smextastic stuff.

i went to school for all of thrity minutes today. it was pretty exciting, up to the point where i got dizzy and my brain exploded and i got all icky hot and my insides went all icky cold and i thought i was going to die. john gave me his cellphone, though, and i called my mommy. she came to pick me up and i managed to get all the way out to the parking lot before throwing up everywhere. which, i suppose, is somewhat of a plus. go me.

then i came home, slept for a few hours, curled up in the fetal position and cried like an emo kid for a few more hours, and felt a lot better. spent the rest of the day shuffling around the house, watching tv, and eating cereal. it was good times.

now i'm listening to panic! at the disco and writing some weird story about nothing in particular which i'll post in a wee bit. i have moderate hopes for tomorrow being a genuinly good day. this optimism both concerns and amuses me.

we have to kill snails in biology tomorrow, and i'd really rather not. i mean, they're just little snails. it's not as if they've ever done anything to bother me - to bother anyone, for that matter. pretty much the only thing they do is exist. doing this experiment is kind of like me going up to jon knox and being like, "hey, you're alive, but you don't do anything all that productive, so i'ma smuther you know, kay?" they don't deserve to be ripped from their little sewer creek home and thrown into a few bottles so some geeky honors kids can do some stupid experiment that really doesn't even help them learn anything. thinking about it kind of makes me cold in the tummy. it's just, they're so innocent and small and they don't have any choice but to be suffocated in a water bottle.

...i realize i'm being a complete emo pussy over killing snails, but seriously. i wouldn't have such a problem with it if the class was supposed to kill an animal that had done something to piss all of humanity off, or an animal that was creepy and needed to die, like maybe a big rat or a kitty, or an orphan, because no one really likes orphans and they just suck money from society. why does it have to be some poor itty creature that never had a chance in life anyway?

I was rifling through old video tapes this afternoon, and I found a tape that not only has The Little Mermaid, but also 101 Dalmations and The Lady and The Tramp. If I could find Snow White and Surf Ninjas, this would be the best day ever.

But, yay! Now I can finally watch The Little Mermaid! I'm going to go frolic around the house now, until my mommy's show gets done taping and I can watch it. And I'm going to drink hot chocolate and wear my christmas socks and oh, aren't you jealous my life is so much better than yours?
